Frequently Asked Questions

How are your plants grown?

All of our plants are grown in our licensed indoor nursery. Each one is grown with love, patience, and close attention to every variegated leaf.

Do you use beneficial insects?

We do! We use beneficial mites as a preventative measure, so you may notice some friendly hitchhikers. This is totally normal and helps keep plants healthy. We still recommend quarantining new plants before adding them to your collection—just to be safe.

When do you ship orders?

We ship Mondays and Tuesdays only, excluding holidays.

  • Orders placed Tuesday–Sunday ship the following week

  • Orders placed on Monday may get shipped the same week, otherwise they will go out the following week.

This helps prevent plants from being stuck in transit over the weekend.

What shipping methods do you offer?

  • UPS 2nd Day Air (standard shipping)

  • UPS Next Day Air (available at checkout)

Shipping costs are calculated by weight and box size.

Do you include insulation or heat packs?

Yes! Insulation and/or heat packs are complimentary and added at our discretion based on weather conditions. Your plant’s safety always comes first.

Can my order be delayed due to weather?

Absolutely. We reserve the right to hold shipments during extreme weather or holidays to protect your plants. If this happens, we’ll post updates on our website and Instagram.

What if my plant arrives with yellowing or damaged leaves?

Some yellowing, leaf loss, or minor cosmetic damage during shipping is completely normal—especially for Alocasias. These plants can be a little dramatic after travel but usually recover beautifully with proper care and time.

Do you offer a Live Arrival Guarantee?

Yes! Our Live Arrival Guarantee is valid with an unpacking video recorded within 2 hours of delivery.

  • Video must start with the plant still sealed in the box

  • This helps protect both the buyer and seller

Please note: we are not responsible for shipping delays or weather-related damage, but we’ll always try our best to work with you.

Should I water my plant right after it arrives?

If the soil is moist or wet, there’s no need to water the same day.

  • Place the plant in a warm, humid spot (80%+) with bright light

  • Let it rest and recover

  • Give a small sip of water the next day, if needed

  • Wait at least 7 days before repotting

Adjustment stress like yellowing or leaf drop is normal.

Why shouldn’t I repot right away?

If your plant arrives in stratum/perlite or coco coir, it has water roots. Repotting into soil or another medium requires an adjustment period. Giving your plant time to settle helps reduce stress and root loss.

Do you accept returns or refunds?

Because plants are living things, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns or offer refunds.
